Humanity is goal-oriented, and we are constantly achieving goals everyday. When we try to plan ahead and make long-term goals, things start to get messy. Life gets in the way, and we lose sight of what it was we were after.
How do we make a solid plan and stick to it? Can sheer will power accomplish our unspoken dreams we've kept to ourselves, or is there a better way?
By identifying what goals are most important to us, and why they matter so much, we create meaning in our lives when we work toward them and achieve them. Rather than aimlessly existing day-to-day, we choose to focus on something that gives us purpose.
I'm testing out a new way to accomplish long-term goals, one-year long to be exact. Using the Fifty Feats framework to break down a one-year goal into weekly chunks, the big goal feels more managable and can be accomplished one step at a time.
