Don't be afraid to adapt a feat to your preferences from week-to-week as long as it still aligns to your current feature.

Feat 7 was supposed to be “Navigation polish and active states” but I am going to switch it up. You can change feats at any time to make them work within your schedule or if you think a different one might fit your plan better. At the end of the day, Fifty Feats adapts with you, so as long as you change your feats to fit the theme of your current feature/phase, go for it.
I don’t feel like cleaning up some things on the pages is going to move the needle enough at this early stage of Fifty Feats. I want functions that people are going to enjoy checking out when there’s not much else to do on the website yet.
Since the feature I’m on is “Content pages”, I’m going to update Feat 7 to be a date calculator page. This will be an extremely specific page to Fifty Feats and help people automatically see the structure of a one-year goal when using this framework.
Since I won’t have the entire app completed that quickly, there needs to be a way for people to see the schedule of their focus if they want to manually try it out now. This will help them get a sense of where their phases line up on the calendar and is a good way to explain the Fifty Feats structure in a practical way.
It’s going to take a little Javascript, which I haven’t done too much of yet, but it’s still in my wheelhouse and I’m ready to learn any new code along the way.
